However, it's worth noting that once you've moved files into the Files panel, they're no longer searchable via Spotlight. This is because the default location for files dragged to the panel is a folder deep within your personal Library folder (~/Library/Application Support/Unclutter/File Storage).

If you want to store your files in a different location, Unclutter's preferences window lets you choose a different destination. Just be aware that this means you'll need to manually sync your files with Dropbox or other services if you want to access them remotely.

In terms of security, it's worth noting that some users have reported issues with X11 forwarding and remote GUI applications. If you're experiencing problems with 'cannot open display' errors while launching GUI applications on a remote server, there are a few things you can try.

First, make sure that trusted X11 forwarding is enabled by using the -Y option when connecting to the remote host via SSH. You can do this by running the command $ ssh -Y remotemachine.

If you're still experiencing issues, you may need to enable access control disabled and allow clients to connect from any host by running the command xhost +. This will disable access control and allow clients to connect from anywhere.
